Mural: Giffin Square

Lewisham

A much loved, iconic & quirky mural, painted on the gable end of a 17th century building on Deptford High Street facing onto Griffin Square.

Surreal in tone, this mural uses humour to dissolve all that is difficult about life. It has traveled the world being one of the most photographed murals in London. It has been the background for a whole generation who has seen many changes happen in the area.
