Deptford Library is an impressive modern library with huge windows allowing lots of natural light. The space is airy and open It also features a large meeting room with overhead lighting, blank white walls and low hanging lights for almost a classroom feel. The library also provides a space for children's reading areas and quiet study rooms.

The exterior is shaped like a boat and has an industrial feel. The brown and light brown brick design creates a asymmetric feel to the building.
