Eclectic Pub
Hackney | Ref 16343
This long-standing pub retains all the character of what was before, with a twist. The original stand-out central bar is reminiscent of a carousel, the classic pub sign is preserved, and the large courtyard becomes a greener space.
Influenced by the Victorian circus, the eclectic designs feature circus freaks, carousels and botanical leaves. It brings together the old and the new, with a mix of contemporary and minimalist interiors with references to history.
On the main floor is the ladies and gentlemen toilets. The bar and all around this bar are the tables and chairs. This space has 6 massive windows, allowing a large amount of natural light into the room. There is another set of toilets on the first floor, then a 3m long corridor 'dressed' with black and white tiles and stripped wall-paper. On this floor, you will find the cosy gypsy caravan karaoke room with big mirrors and paintings, and there is a furnished, quirky function room on this floor too.
The venue is an old Victorian building with a beautiful outside terrace that has plenty of seats built from wooden pallets and sieged by a brand new wooden fence with plants and flowers (heating lamps available).
