Victoria Park - East Side

Tower Hamlets | Ref 24847

Victoria Park is one of London's most important historic parks and its oldest public park. It has been used by millions of Londoners for nearly 170 years as a place of healthy recreation, sports, play and relaxation.

The park is the largest in Tower Hamlets, and is bordered on its northern boundary by the London Borough of Hackney. A wide range of formal and informal sports, sponsored activities, events and festivals take place throughout the year.

The East Side of Victoria Park refers to the area of the park east of Grove Road. This section is much larger than the West thus doesn't feel as busy.

  • Burdette Coutts Monument (Victorian drinking fountain)
  • Bandstand
