St George's Church
Newham | Ref 25656
The Church's white brick columns & walls with large stained glass windows make for a very light and vibrant interior.
The original St George's Church was built in 1913, the present brick building dates from 1937 and is built on the grounds of the previous wooden Church, which was demolished after a fire in 1954.
With both a main and an auxiliary Altar, the Church is the ideal location for both small to large scale filming and photography. The small intimate chapel away from the main space has a low wooden arched ceiling.
The church has an active community with services every Sunday at 10:00.
