Art Deco Cinema

Hackney | Ref 31428

Originally built in 1913 as a purpose-built cinema, The Art Deco Cinema ran until 1958. Since then it’s been a bingo hall, a shoe factory and a snooker club. Now, after a successful crowdfunding campaign, it’s been restored to its former glory.

With an art deco bar filled with elegant marble tables and velvet cocktail chairs, and boutique cinema with 6m screen and a curved ceiling covered in ornate gold plasterwork, is the perfect, art deco venue for a cosy, atmospheric, movie theatre vibe.

Whether you're looking for a cafe, bar, cinema, restaurant (or all of the above!) we'd love to host your shoot!

In addition, the original projection room has been turned into a plush second screening room with a 4m screen!
