Lewisham | Ref 33229
Situated on the banks of Deptford Creek, APT is one of the few remaining Wharfs left along Creekside. Harold Wharf is believed to be built on the site of a Tudor slaughterhouse associated with Henry VIII.
The building holds great architectural importance, featuring some of the equipment and tools of its once river related industrial past. Covering 1800sq ft the complex contains; 42 artist studios, a bright spacious contemporary art gallery and a working sculpture yard.
The Art Gallery is directly accessible from the street with floor to ceiling glass frontage surrounded by corrugated iron walls providing a fantastic backdrop and location for filming & photography. The 2 main white rooms of the gallery can be dressed to production's needs to provide a double for a gallery, shop or workshop.
